Paul provides face-to-face tutoring either individually in small groups, in the comfort of your home if you prefer. This can be regular
weekly sessions or blocks of focused tutoring over school holidays or weekends.
Paul has had a career as a highly successful head of history at an 11-18 comprehensive, consistently achieving results above the
national average. He is energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Since beginning private tutoring Paul has helped students

As an experienced Sixth Form tutor, and working closely with university admissions officers, Paul is well-versed in helping students
craft personal statements which showcase the individual student’s talents and enthusiasm for their chosen subject succinctly and

Paul is an examiner for one exam board and has acted in an advisory capacity for another on standards and content. As a former
Fleet Street journalist, Paul was closely involved in political reporting and has a wealth of anecdotes with which to illustrate key
political concepts and enhance student understanding. Paul also uses his writing skills to help students shape their coursework and
craft their final drafts.
